Registrations Closing Soon! Free Online Courses for Hume Residents affected by COVID-19

Time is running out to join Hume City Council on Coursera with registrations closing on 30th September 2020!

For a limited time, eligible* residents can access over 3000 online courses while at home via the Coursera online learning platform.

What is Coursera?

An engaging learning experience where you make progress at your convenience with bite-sized sessions and a self-paced learning. Learn new skills anytime, anywhere even via your mobile phone.

There are many courses available to choose from in various areas such as Personal Development, Business, Science, Health, IT, Arts & Humanities, Learning English and more. 

Don’t have a lot of time, start with one of the below short courses (all under 12 nominal hours of study) to build skills and improve your confidence:

  • Mind Control: Managing Your Mental Health During COVID-19, University of Toronto, 3 hours.
  • Conflict Resolution, University of California Irvine, 4 hours.
  • Art of Negotiation, University of California Irvine, 7 hours.
  • Mitigating Security Vulnerabilities on Google Cloud, 7 hours.
  • Digital Footprint, University of Edinburgh, 9 hours.
  • Career Design: From insight to impact, Wesleyan University, 11 hours.
  • Positive Psychology, University of North Carolina, 11 hours.
