Job Blitz for Hume - How to Register

Hume City Council will offer more than 100 jobs to locals that are currently out of work under a new Victorian Government initiative, Working for Victoria.  

There are currently multiple roles in the industry category of Agriculture/Farming that can be found for registered users of Working for Victoria and SideKicker.

 To view and apply for these jobs:

  1. Register on the Working for Victoria website
  2. Download the SideKicker app and create an account via Jobs can be viewed via the SideKicker app on your mobile, and emailed to you.
  3. When creating your account on SideKicker, you can select the industries you would like to work in. The industries you select will determine the types of jobs you will be sent via email, and will be viewable on the app.

 The industries include

  • Agriculture/Farming
  • Business Support/Call Centres
  • Healthcare Services
  • Community Services
  • Retail
  • Hospitality/Accommodation/Food Services
  • Wholesale/Logistics/Delivery
  • Bushfire Recovery
  • Manufacturing (inc.Food and fibre)
  • Construction
  • Cleansing/Sanitation/Waste Services

Note: Pre-employment checks may include, Medical, Working with Children’s Check, Police Check and Reference Checks. Jobseekers must have Australian working rights to be eligible.

The Hume Joblink Team will be running online information sessions in the coming weeks to assist residents wishing to register on Working for Victoria and SideKicker.
