We are seeking passionate and committed Direct Care Workers to join our Aged and Disability Services. As a Direct Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Hume's older residents and younger people with a disability, assisting them to live active, engaged and independent lives. As a Direct Care Worker at Hume City Council, you will provide Personal Care, Domestic Assistance and Respite Care.

In this role, you will not only be making a difference to people's lives, but working for a progressive organisation that supports and values employee satisfaction and encourages career development.

Ability to speak a second language is desirable.

Key Skills

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (previously Home and Community Care or Aged Care)
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in the delivery of domestic assistance, personal care and respite care
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence, valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (employee version) required for the position
