Subdivision Landscape Works Surveillance Officer (101868)

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and self-reliant individual, to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team, planning and overseeing the construction of new parks and streetscapes, in the new subdivisions in Hume's growth areas. You will need experience of landscape construction, and a good knowledge of plant establishment requirements within a municipal setting. You must be able to work a part of a team that supports each other to achieve great results for the local community.
- Experience in landscape construction supervision and dealing with Contractors.
- Minimum diploma level qualifications in Horticulture, Landscape design/architecture, Landscape Construction or a closely related discipline AND/OR substantial experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, including setting priorities, and planning and organising one's own work to complete assigned tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to gain trust and resolve problems with a wide range of people from a broad range of backgrounds and cultures.
